Nancy Rosalie Pittman

Feb. 24, 1939 – Nov. 27, 2025

Nancy Rosalie Pittman, 86, of Windsor, Colorado, went to be with the Lord on November 27, in Windsor. She was born on February 24, 1939, in Riverside, California to Foster Claunch Mynatt and Rosalie Zelda Mynatt.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 36 years, Bob, her sister, Jackie, her children, Ryan and Carrie, her grandchildren, AJ, Jake, and Bailey, and her great-grandchildren, Max, Lily, and TJ.

She grew up in East Los Angeles; her mother was a nurse and father worked for the US Air Force. She spent many of her summers at her Grandmothers’ Farm in Norco CA. Working on the farm is where she developed a great love of animals, especially horses. She graduated from Riverside Polytechnic High School. Then at 17 years old she was accepted at the University of California-Davis, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Husbandry. She eventually married, had two children and made her home in Orange CA.

Her life led her on many adventures and world travel where she finally ended up in Lakewood CO working for a German software company as the Executive Administrator for the Sr. VP of Sales. Nancy met her husband Bob during this time. She worked in the IT industry for 28 years, aspiring to the position of Director of Information Systems. During her tenure she achieved her master’s degree in communications from the University of Denver, graduating top of her class. After retiring, she became the Director of Haven’s Hope, a non-profit that helped under-resourced families.

Nancy was incredibly passionate about the culinary arts! She studied it, undertook many cooking classes and would spend hours researching recipes just to find the right menu for her family’s Thanksgiving dinner. She has touched so many lives along her life’s journey. She will be remembered by her generosity, sharp wit, and natural compassion to nurture others.

A memorial service for Nancy will be held at the Christian  Church of Windsor, Windsor, Colorado. The date and time of the service will be provided on the church’s website (www.ccwin.org) and on the Christian Church of Windsor Facebook page.
